By using Acabeta, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you are using our services on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Services Provided

AcaBeta offers a platform for job seekers, employers, teachers, and learners. Our services include job postings, job applications, talent hiring, teaching, career, and upskilling resources.

3. User Accounts

• Registration: You must create an account to use certain features of AcaBeta. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Use of the Services

• Job Seekers: You may use the platform to create a profile, upload/build your resume, search for jobs, and apply for job postings.
• Employers: You may post job openings, search for candidates, manage applications, and use analytics tools provided by Acabeta.
• Teachers: You may create and share educational content, provide tutoring, and engage with learners.
• Learners: You may access educational content, participate in courses, and interact with teachers.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use Acabeta for any illegal purposes or activities.
• Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the services or the servers and networks connected to Acabeta.

6. Content Ownership and License

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on or through Acabeta. By posting content on Acabeta, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute such content.

Our Content: Acabeta and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the services, including all related intellectual property rights. You may not use, copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, broadcast, display, sell, license, or otherwise exploit any content for any purposes without our prior written consent or the consent of the respective licensors.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information. By using Acabeta, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our services at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of Acabeta or us.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AcaBeta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the services; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (c) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our services; (d) any bugs, viruses, Trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our services by any third party; (e) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the services; and/or (f) the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the Terms and, in some cases, we may provide additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email notification). Your continued use of Acabeta after the changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
