Lodgify is on the lookout for a Senior Frontend Developer to join the UI squad and help us maintain and expand our Design System’s Components library.

You will be part of a squad fully dedicated to design and develop reusable components with the goal to efficiently empower other squads to improve the usability and consistency of their own domains.

How will you make an impact?

Participate in the implementation and maintenance of our React library of reusable UI components, written in Typescript and Emotion.js

Work closely with the product design function, you will take an active part in decisions that will shape our design system and the library

You will be studying technical feasibility always with an eye on creating lightweight, easy-to-integrate-with and composable components

Shape the best approach to effectively collaborate with product design. Our processes as squad will help drive collaboration between the 2 functions, to make it a breeze to move from design to development.

What makes you a great fit?

At least 3+ years of experience with React

You have strong foundations in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML and CSS

You have experience working with Design Systems

You write unit and integration tests. Experience with interaction tests using Storybook or E2E tests using Playwright are a plus

You can effectively deliver accessible, mobile-responsive, performant and scalable solutions

You have experience working closely with designers and can validate their ideas for technical feasibility

Experience with Agile Principles (Kanban, Scrum)

How can you earn extra bonus points?

Have experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

You can audit applications for accessibility issues and use WCAG specification effectively

You have strong Git skills and have experience working with a mono-repository
